Western Red Cedar is an important aspect of our portfolio at MacKenzie. Our product selection includes specialty appearance timbers, 2" rough, boards, along with a line of export grades consisting of 2 clear, 4 clear and shop and better. MacKenzie's ability to manufacture Cedar timbers up to 40' gives us a niche in the increasing global timber frame market. All our timbers are graded to high standards which are virtually wane free. Timbers larger than 4" x 6" are end waxed to reduce end checking at our distributors locations. All our finished Cedar is paper wrapped, strapped with plastic strapping and edge protectors to ensure that our customers receive a clean, fresh looking product at all times.

In addition to these products, we further manufacture our rough products at our sister company, Pacific Lumber Remanufacturing (PLR). This added flexibility allows us to offer finish products including Decking, Trim boards in 1”, 5/4” and 2” as well as many patterns including Bevel, Channel, and Tongue and Groove paneling.
