The business of MacKenzie is manufacturing large B.C. sawlogs into high valued lumber, flitch and beam products. Mill equipment and configuration are combined with a highly skilled and experienced crew to create a very flexible mill- everything from 40' structural timbers to graded flitches for remanufacturing, to clear boards from large high grade logs. The MacKenzie sawmill is located on the lower Fraser River with excellent water access to the large Vancouver log market stretching from the Queen Charlotte Islands to the U.S. border. Log supply agreements are held with numerous timber companies and open market loggers. Normal log inventories are maintained at two months supply, which allows the co-ordination of order file with the correct corresponding logs.

MacKenzie Sawmill, together with Pacific Lumber Remanufacturing Inc (a commonly-owned sister company), has a worldwide reputation for producing high quality timber and lumber products ranging from KD or green decking, siding , and boards through to large timbers in structural, appearance and re-sawing grades.
